Age-Adjusted Percentage of Adults with Diabetes Reporting a Mobility Limitation, by Race/Ethnicity and Sex, United States, 1997–2007
In general, the age-adjusted percentage of adults with diabetes reporting a mobility limitation was higher among women than among men across all race groups. In 2007, the age-adjusted percentage of adults with diabetes reporting a mobility limitation was 47.0% for white men, 52.8% for white women, 37.0% for black men, 54.3% for black women, 39.2% for Hispanic men, and 45.8% for Hispanic women. In 2007, white men and black women had the highest percentage of mobility limitation.
