Limitation, by Race/Ethnicity and Sex, United States, 1997–2010
In general, from 1997 to 2010, the percentage of adults with diagnosed diabetes who reported any mobility limitation was higher among women than among men. In 2010, among women, the age-adjusted percentages were 52.4% for whites, 55.5% for blacks, and 49.4% for Hispanics. Among men, in 2010, the age-adjusted percentages were 48.9% for whites, 48.0% for blacks, and 43.4% for Hispanics.
