Percentage of Adults with Diabetes Reporting a Mobility Limitation, by Age, United States, 1997–2007

The percentage of adults with diabetes reporting a mobility limitation rises with age. In 2007, the percentage of adults with diabetes reporting a mobility limitation among people aged 75 or older was about twice that of people aged 18–44 (79.4% vs. 36.4%). Since 2000, the age specific percentage have shown little change.
