Percentage of Adults with Diagnosed Diabetes Reporting Any Mobility Limitation, by Age, United States, 1997–2011
From 1997 to 2011, the percentage of adults age 18 years or older with diagnosed diabetes reporting any mobility limitation showed little or no change regardless of age group. Throughout the period, the percentage was greater with increasing age. In 2011, the percentage of people reporting any mobility limitation was about two times more among those aged 75 years or older than among those aged 18–44 years (81.4% vs. 41.6%).
