Percentage of Adults with Diagnosed Diabetes Reporting Fair or Poor General Health, by Sex, United States, 1994–2010

From 1994 to 2010, the crude and age-adjusted percentages of adult men and women with diagnosed diabetes who reported that in general their health was fair or poor changed little. Throughout the period, both crude and age-adjusted percentages were higher among women than men. In 2010, the age-adjusted percentage was 1.2 times higher among women than men (50.4% vs. 40.6%).
