Percentage of Adults with Diagnosed Diabetes Reporting Inability to Do Usual Activities at Least 1 Day in the Past 30 Days, by Age, United States, 1994–2011

From 1994 to 2011, the age-specific percentages of adults aged 18 years or older with diagnosed diabetes who reported having an inability to do usual activities at least 1 day in the past 30 days changed little. Throughout the period, the percentage was higher among younger adults than among those who were older. In 2011, the percentages were about 40% for those aged 18–64 years, and nearly 30% for those aged 65 years or older.
