Percentage of Adults with Diagnosed Diabetes Reporting Poor Mental Health at Least 1 Day in the Past 30 Days, by Age, United States, 1994–2011

From 1994 to 2011, the percentage of adults aged 18 years or older with diagnosed diabetes who reported having poor mental health at least 1 day in the past 30 days was higher among younger adults than among those who were older. In 2011, the percentage ranged from 43.7% to 49.9% among those aged 18–64 years, and from 22.0% to 28.5% for those aged 65 years or older.
