Hospital Discharge Rates for Neuropathy as First-Listed Diagnosis per 1,000 Diabetic Population, by Age, United States, 2003

In 2003, hospital discharge rates for neuropathy as first-listed diagnosis were highest for persons younger than 45 years (8.3 per 1,000 diabetic population) compared with those older, and it was similar for persons in the age groups above the age of 44 (approximately 4.0 per 1,000 diabetic population).
