Age-Adjusted Hospital Discharge Rates for Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) as First-Listed Diagnosis per 1,000 Diabetic Population, United States, 1980-2003

In 2003, the age-adjusted discharge rate for PAD was 3.3 per 1,000 diabetic population. The age-adjusted rate for PAD increased until 1995 and then began decreasing substantially.
