Age-Adjusted Hospital Discharge Rates for Congestive Heart Disease as First-Listed Diagnosis per 10,000 Population, United States, 1988–2006

The age-adjusted hospital discharge rates for congestive heart disease as first-listed diagnosis per 10,000 population increased from 1988 to 2000, and then leveled off through 2006. The age-adjusted rate was 7.9 per 10,000 population in 1988 and 11.4 in 2006.
