Throughout NDEP's history, we have collaborated with a wide range of community-based, professional, business, and government organizations to plan, develop, test, implement, and evaluate diabetes education strategies and resources. This collaboration has ensured that NDEP's strategic directions and educational resources are culturally appropriate and meet the needs of communities, especially those with a higher than average burden of diabetes. We believe that by working together, all of us will have a greater effect on preventing type 2 diabetes and the complications of diabetes.

NDEP can collaborate with you to help you

  • Find science-based, culturally appropriate, tested, and co-brandable resources.
  • Build capacity by using toolkits, Web sites, and promotional resources, and accessing technical assistance and training.
  • Benefit from lessons learned by others working on similar issues and partner spotlights.
  • Become part of a network of individuals and organizations who provide input to NDEP, share information and resources with each other, and learn more about diabetes education strategies and resources, including those for specific audiences.

If you are interested in collaborating with NDEP, please join our partner network on phConnect (read the instructions for joining). If you want additional information about becoming a partner, please call 1-800-CDC-INFO (1-800-232-4636; TTY 1-888-232-5348). Learn more about NDEP's partnerships and ongoing activities, and subscribe to NDEP's monthly e-newsletter.
