Summit Updates

Registration Location and Times

The registration booth is located in the Regency Foyer on the Ballroom Level of the hotel. If your travel schedule allows we encourage everyone to check in on Monday, November 26, to avoid the Tuesday morning rush before the Summit begins at 8:30 am. Registration will be open during the following hours:

3:00 p.m.– 7:00 p.m.
7:00 a.m.– 5:00 p.m.
7:00 a.m.– 5:00 p.m.
7:30 a.m.– 10:30 a.m.

Online Continuing Education System

For those seeking continuing education credits for the summit, this process will be done completely online. This means that you may register for CEs, complete your evaluation form, and print out your own certificates from the online CE system. You may pre-register for CEs by going online to: http://www.cdc.gov/tceonline. Continuing education credits will be available for the following Webcast sessions - Leland Kaiser's Keynote Address (Wednesday 8:45-9:45 a.m.), the Fries Prize Award Presentation (Wednesday 12:15-1:15 p.m.), the Town Hall Meeting (Wednesday 1:45-3:00 p.m) and the Special Closing Session (Thursday 10:15-12:15 p.m).

For more detailed instructions on how to register for Webcast CEs, you may click here PDF icon (PDF–29K) to download this information and then click on http://www.cdc.gov/tceonline to register.  The Course Code for this live Webcast is 07SummitWebcast, but will not be activated until Tuesday, November 27, 2007.

Tickets for Lunch Functions

Do note that you will only be allowed to attend the lunch functions if you pre-registered for these events. Once you check in, you will receive a ticket for each event if you pre-registered. No extra tickets will be given on site for these events so please plan your lunches accordingly.

Gala Networking Reception

An evening of art and networking at the National Museum of Women in the Arts on Wednesday, November 28, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Buses will begin shuttling guests from the hotel lobby at 6:00 p.m. All registered Summit attendees are invited to attend this event and must have your name badge for entry.

Webcast of Plenary Sessions

If you can’t attend the Summit in Washington, D.C., you can still catch the keynote and plenary sessions LIVE via the Web. Beginning Tuesday, November 27, all keynote and plenary sessions at the Summit will be available through a Webcast at http://www.wellness07.com.* There is no cost for the Webcast.

Approximately two weeks after the Summit is complete, videos of the keynote and plenary sessions will be available online. More information will be on the Summit Website as it becomes available.
