Podcasts
The Kansas Choose Respect Podcast Series features real teens giving their perspective and advice on friendships, dating, and respect. In 2007, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment held "Express Yourself," an essay contest for teens ages 11-16. The essays focused on how youth make respectful choices in everyday life and choosing healthy relationships.
Based on the winning essays, the podcasts tell personal stories of teens making respectful choices when faced with challenging situations. The podcasts feature a panel of teens providing advice and telling their own experiences about relationships and respect.
