CDC's Exhibit at the American Public Health Association Meeting in New York
This year the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is celebrating its 50th Anniversary. CDC emerged in 1946 as an agency dedicated to controlling a single tropical disease. In only 50 years it has become the nation's prevention agency responsible for responding to existing and emerging threats to health. This exhibit visually reflects on the milestones of our past, highlights the priorities of our present, and suggests the focus of our future.
Please join us at CDC's exhibit commemorating our 50th anniversary at the American Public Health Association Meeting at the New York Coliseum in New York City, NY from November 17-20, 1996.
