California Cancer Registry
- Improving Treatment Protocols: The California Cancer Registry (CCR) initiated a descriptive study to characterize a specific type of breast cancer known as "triple-negative" (estrogen-receptor negative, progesterone-receptor negative, and human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 negative) breast cancer.
- Reducing Breast Cancer in Los Angeles County: Despite the availability of reliable screening methods and statewide programs providing free or low-cost breast cancer screening, invasive breast cancer incidence rates remain highest among all invasive cancer rates in Los Angeles County (LAC).
- Reviewing Colorectal Cancer Incidence Trends Among Asian Subgroups: In 2010, the California Cancer Registry (CCR) released a special topic report, Colorectal Cancer in Californians, 1988–2007, that reviewed colorectal cancer incidence trends among racial and ethnic groups in California, including six major Asian subgroups.
