Missouri Cancer Registry
- Death Clearance Process Improvement: To meet National Program of Cancer Registries (NPCR) requirements and North American Association of Central Cancer Registries (NAACCR) Gold standards, a central cancer registry (CCR) must follow death clearance guidelines and produce an annual incidence dataset that contains no more than 3% death certificate only (DCO) cases.
- Making Cancer Incidence Data More Accessible and Understandable: In an effort to improve visualization of cancer incidence data, the Missouri Cancer Registry undertook two projects.
- Using Audit Results to Improve Data Completeness and Quality: MCR used the audit process, lessons learned, and contacts made with other registries to streamline its audit program.
