Healthy People 2010Healthy People 2010 was designed to achieve two goals:
Compelling evidence indicates race and ethnicity correlate with persistent, and often increasing, health disparities among U.S. populations in all these categories and demands national attention. Eliminating racial and ethnic disparities in cancer will require enhanced efforts at preventing disease, promoting health, and delivering appropriate care.
