A core function of the CDC arthritis program is to publish prevalence estimates and provide information that characterizes the burden of arthritis in the United States. This information is often published in the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) or peer-reviewed journals.

A variety of arthritis-related publications are provided in this section. A list of CDC staff publications is available, and key arthritis-related publications from other authors are listed as well. Electronic links to the various publications are provided whenever possible.
