Localizable Campaign Materials
Disclaimer: “Physical Activity. The Arthritis Pain Reliever” is a health communication campaign for general use by state health departments and their partners. The only modifications that can be made to the campaign materials is to add the health department or arthritis program/coalition logo and to replace the national 1-800 number or website with a local response number or website. Important Note: Health department or arthritis program/coalition logos can be added to the materials. The addition of other logos will require approval of the CDC Technology Transfer Office. - Materials for a LOCALIZABLE campaign allow you to replace the national 1-800 number and/or website with local response options, and provides space to add a the health department logo. The content, appearance, and availability are the same for general and localizable materials. The localizable versions come in InDesign and can be adapted, by a printer or graphic designer with access to this program, to add the health department or arthritis program/coalition logo, as well as replace the existing phone number or Web site (you could replace the CDCINFO phone number and CDC Web site with your local information; see sample image below). In addition, InDesign allows each of the materials to be resized, providing you limitless options in meeting any media outlet’s specifications.
- The InDesign files needed to localize the print materials are available upon request. If you would like to receive the InDesign files please include the following in your items in your email: your name and organization planning to use the material, the specific files you are requesting; an explanation of your localization plan, a copy of the logo you plan to use in your ad (if you plan to add a health department or arthritis program/coalition logo. Please also specify if your printer or graphic designer prefers InDesign version CS3 or CS4.
