The Doctor Is In

The 1-2-3 Approach to Provider Outreach is a social marketing strategy aimed at raising awareness among primary care providers (PCPs) about the benefits of community-based chronic disease self-management education and physical activity interventions. The approach is built around direct-to-provider outreach to encourage PCPs to recommend local self-management classes to their patients with chronic disease. This video follows a novice marketer as she conducts an outreach visit with a local practice. In this segment, she makes her pitch to the doctor.
