The Virginia Assessment Initiative Project (VAIP) located in the Office of Family Health Services (OFHS) is developing Intranet and Internet data reporting capabilities that will enable users to access Maternal and Child Health (MCH) data. They are also developing a data warehouse to store and disseminate MCH data. The data warehouse will include a variety of datasets such as vital records, hospital discharge, and Virginia Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS). VAIP is standardizing MCH surveillance and reporting across OFHS.
