Missouri's Assessment Initiative project focuses on the redesign and ongoing development of the Missouri Information for Community Assessment (MICA) Web-based data dissemination system. MICA is an interactive system that allows the user to create and download tables, based on selected variables from the available data. It is able to summarize data, calculate rates, and display the information in easily readable maps. MICA currently hosts 28 static Community Data Profiles and 23 interactive MICA datasets as well as applications for setting priorities and selecting intervention strategies. Missouri has also used AI funding to support a course on Evidence-Based Decision Making that is periodically taught at the Saint Louis University School of Public Health.
