Homicide
Trends in Homicide Rates Among Persons Ages 10-24 Years, by Race/Ethnicity, 1991–2007

Homicide rates were consistently higher for Non-Hispanic Blacks than for all other race/ethnicity groups from 1991–2007. Homicide rates for Non-Hispanic Blacks declined from 62.6 per 100,000 population in 1991 to 33.9 per 100,000 in 2007.
