Trends in Homicide Rates Among Persons Ages 10-24 Years, by Race/Ethnicity, 1994–2010

 Homicide rates were consistently higher for Non-Hispanic Blacks than for all other race/ethnicity groups from 1994 to 2010. Homicide rates for Non-Hispanic Blacks declined from 60.6 per 100,000 population in 1994 to 28.8 per 100,000 in 2010.
