Content Syndication

Overview

CDC website with syndicated content

Partner web using CDC syndicated content

Content syndication is a technical application that allows CDC partners to display CDC health and safety information on their own Web sites. The content is automatically updated so that when CDC updates the information, the changes are automatically made on the partner's Web site. This tool is an easy and cost-free way to provide credible, science-based health information that is updated in real-time to your Web site users. Visit http://tools.cdc.gov/register/ for additional information and access to the self-registration process.

Content Syndication at CDC

CDC uses content syndication to provide up-to-date and meaningful health information to our health partners and the general public while they are visiting a content syndication partner's Web site. The state of Ohio's Department of Health is an example of a partner organization that has syndicated CDC.gov content on its home page to ensure that disease outbreak information on its site is updated quickly and consistently.
