NCSD Sponsored Site Visits - March 8, 2010
Before the conference, join us to visit local STD-related programs! The National Coalition of STD Directors (NCSD) has arranged tours of several outstanding programs in downtown Atlanta, all only a short distance from the conference hotel.

Space is limited so sign up early. Pre-register for one of these tours when you register for the conference. An additional $12 for transportation will be added to your registration fee.
Neighborhood Union Health Center (NUHC)/ Atlanta University Center (AUC)
- State-of-the art, multi-service facility operated by Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness, first in the state designed to address health disparities for its community (Vine City)
- Tour of surrounding area – historic West End and Atlanta University Center, a group of the country's major institutions of higher learning for African Americans.

Saint Joseph’s Mercy Care Services/Aldredge Health Center
- One of Atlanta’s oldest and largest community outreach programs, delivering health care and health related services to the homeless and others in need for 25 years. Mercy Care Services operates four fixed-site clinics as well as several mobile clinics. This site visit will also include a tour of the mobile medical coach.
- Aldredge Health Center, operated by the Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness, includes three different clinics: Sexually Transmitted Infections, HIV Primary Care, and Tuberculosis Prevention and Treatment Program.

AID Atlanta
- Largest and most comprehensive AIDS Service Organization in the southeastern United States. Participants will visit the main offices that house the Department of Client Services, the Department of Education and Volunteer Services, HIV Testing and Counseling, and the Joye Bradley Health Services Unit. Participants will also visit a community testing/screening site, and learn how this organization integrated STI screening in its services.
