Highlights from the Jamaica Reproductive Health Survey, 2002–2003

The 2002–2003 Jamaica Reproductive Health Survey (RHS) was implemented by Jamaica National Family Planning Board in collaboration with the Statistical Institute of Jamaica (STATIN), with the technical assistance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Over 7,000 women aged 15 to 49 were interviewed for the survey as well as 2,795 young men aged 15–24 years. The This RHS report provides data on the reproductive health and contraceptive practices in Jamaica, and an evaluation of changes since 1997 and 1993.

Among the highlights of this report are
