Introduction
In 2005, CDC funded a 5-year cooperative agreement with three
national organizations, four Title X Regional Training Center, and nine
state organizations to increase the capacity of local organizations to
select, implement, and evaluate science-based approaches to prevent teen
pregnancy, HIV, and STDs in their communities.
Colorado—Building
Statewide Awareness and Local Capacity
to Reduce Disparities in Teen Pregnancy, HIV, and STDs
The Colorado Organization on Adolescent Pregnancy, Parenting and Prevention
(COAPPP) provides intensive technical assistance to youth-serving
organizations to build capacity and ensure that they institutionalize and
sustain science-based approaches to prevent teen pregnancy.

Region 3 Family Planning Training Center (T3)—Focusing
on Disadvantaged Youth and Youth in Foster Care
