A Message from the Editor
April 22, 2009
The Georgia Department of Human Resources' Division of Public Health recently launched MyHealthVillage, a Web portal that promotes heart health and wellness among residents and helps them identify risk factors for chronic conditions, including heart disease, diabetes and obesity.
Funded through a CDC grant, MyHealthVillage features discussion forums, blogs, media and a Q&A session. The site offers users the opportunity to create profiles and blogs, post comments, and find and connect with others who are interested in "living better longer."
Visit MyHealthVillage, for more information.
Warm Regards,
