A Message from the Editor

January 23, 2009

Football players in a huddleJanuary is historically the time for new resolutions. It’s also a time when relationships, business and personal, are given the opportunity to continue the work of setting and meeting new goals in cross-cutting ways.

In this special issue, we are pleased to highlight three CDC partners whose collaborative public health efforts have served to enhance the lives of people around the country. The three partners—the American College of Sports Medicine, National Athletic Trainers' Association and HealthCorps®—are part of the Alliance to Make US Healthiest initiative created to assist Americans in becoming more active and leading healthier lifestyles.

We hope you enjoy getting to know them better and look forward to sharing your organization’s story in the months to come.

Warm Regards,

CDC Partnerships
