Connect and convene communities of practice to address important cross-cutting laboratory science, policy and practice issues

 

To strengthen the quality of public health and clinical laboratories, LSPPPO connects stakeholders and partners across the laboratory community for the purpose of collaboration. To achieve this, LSPPPO is knowledgeable about the issues affecting laboratories and convenes collaborative working groups to address these issues. LSPPPO serves to bring together leaders to develop innovative solutions to today’s laboratory challenges.

From advocating for cross-cutting laboratory efficiency improvements with the Laboratory Efficiencies Initiative (LEI), to promoting more open communication across CDC’s national centers with the Laboratory Policy and Practice Workgroup (LPPWG), LSPPPO promotes meaningful collaboration and coordination.
