B a c k  |  N e x t

Talking Points

Crises and disasters have long-term consequences that schools must be prepared to deal with so student learning is not endangered. Long-term responses include counseling and psychological services, teaching students coping and grieving strategies, and anticipating anniversary dates. The school crisis-response team should learn from crises by analyzing the schools experience and considering plan modifications.
