Plan for emergencies. Develop and implement plans to assess, manage, and refer injured students and staff to appropriate care. This might include collaborating with local EMS; obtaining parental consent for transport in emergencies, listing staff assignments and instructions, listing contact information for parents, practicing plans annually, and revising them as needed.
