Talking Points

Supervision is critical to maintaining an environment that promotes safety and prevents injuries and violence. Active supervision includes observation, listening to students, anticipating and responding to unsafe situations, and promoting positive behaviors. Key areas for active supervision are hallways, bathrooms, playgrounds, and shops.
