|
|
- EZ-TEXT requires about 1.5Mb of free space for full installation.
- Option 1 - Download one (1) file
- Download ezsetup.exe to a temporary directory on a local drive
(e.g., c:\ez-temp\).
- Run ezsetup.exe to extract the installation files.
- Run setup.exe to install the EZ-TEXT program.
- Option 2 - Download four (4) files for Diskette Installation
- Download the four diskette installation files to a temporary directory,
(e.g., c:\ez-temp\)
on your local drive, then create your installation diskettes as follows:
- Have four formatted, high density diskettes labeled "CDC EZ-TEXT (v3.06C) Disk 1/4",
"CDC EZ-TEXT (v3.06C) Disk 2/4", "CDC EZ-TEXT (v3.06C) Disk 3/4",
and "CDC EZ-TEXT (v3.06C) Disk 4/4" respectively.
- Place "CDC EZ-TEXT (v3.06C) Disk 1/4" in floppy drive and run:
c:\ez-temp\disk1.exe A: (or B:)
- Place "CDC EZ-TEXT (v3.06C) Disk 2/4" in floppy drive and run:
c:\ez-temp\disk2.exe A: (or B:)
- Place "CDC EZ-TEXT (v3.06C) Disk 3/4" in floppy drive and run:
c:\ez-temp\disk3.exe A: (or B:)
- Place "CDC EZ-TEXT (v3.06C) Disk 4/4" in floppy drive and run:
c:\ez-temp\disk4.exe A: (or B:)
- Installation diskettes have just been created. Now place "CDC EZ-TEXT (v3.06C) Disk 1/4" in floppy drive and run:
a:\setup.exe and follow installation procedures.
- Installation is complete. Place CDC EZ-TEXT Installation Diskettes in a safe place for future installations.
NOTE: EZ-TEXT is updated frequently. Check the EZ-TEXT page
periodically to assure you have the latest updates.
CDC EZ-TEXT Manual
The EZ-TEXT Manual is available in HTML, Word, and WordPerfect.
The Word and WordPerfect files are self-extracting files:
- Word: Download eztextdc.exe
to a temporary directory on a local drive
(e.g., c:\ez-temp).
Run eztextdc.exe to self-extract the Word file: eztextdc.doc.
- WordPerfect: Download eztextwp.exe to a temporary directory on a local drive (e.g., c:\ez-temp).
Run eztextwp.exe to self-extract the WordPerfect file: eztextwp.wpd.
