Prevention Epicenters Program History

The overarching goal of the program, considering all activities taking place since its inception in 1997, can be summarily stated as follows: To work with academic partners to create new knowledge through collaborative research that leads to the prevention of healthcare-associated infections and other adverse health outcomes.
