How to Install
It is recommended that you print these instructions.
To install Epi Info™ 6, Epi Map 2, or DoEpi 1:
- Download the software into an empty temporary directory on the hard
drive of your computer, e.g., C:\INSTALL or C:\EPITEMP. The temporary
directory should not be called EPI6, EPIMAP2, or EPI2000.
- Unpack the compressed files by typing the first part of the file
name at the DOS prompt in the temporary directory, or by double-clicking
on the file name in File Manager (Win 3.x) or Windows Explorer (Windows
95/98/ME/NT 4.0/2000/XP).
- Type INSTALL at the DOS prompt in the temporary directory, or double-click
on INSTALL.EXE in File Manager or Windows Explorer.
- Follow the installation instructions as they appear on the screen.
(Type: C=source drive; C=destination drive; N=no floppy diskette; Enter
for normal Epi Info™ 6 installation; I=install; F8 to select all video
drivers; F8 to select all printer drivers; Y=autoexec.bat and config.sys)
